I was reading an article on LDS Living about things that Derek Westra (the author) has learned from participating in a challenge to read (or listen to) all of President Nelson’s conference talks from 1984-2018 in 3 months.
I didn’t even know that was a thing! And now I want to do it, too!
I’ve been having lots of fun reading and writing about the talks from the last General Conference but I think assigning myself 2 talks per week to write about has been a little too ambitious (I keep falling behind!) and it might not mesh well with my new calling (I’ll fill you in next week after I’m sustained, promise!).
I’ll continue to read and write about General Conference talks, but I’m officially giving myself permission to dispense with the schedule I had created and permission to write about other stuff, too, like reading the Book of Mormon and the 2019 Come, Follow Me curriculum.
